A longarm quilter is always excited to take your quilt, but there are a few steps you'll want to complete first in order to have the best experience. It is very important to have a quilt that is flat and squared. (Check back soon for a post on how to apply borders that are flat- not wavy!) A wavy quilt can create complications in the quilting process that might lead to either tucks in the quilt or your longarmer might return the quilt for you to fix. Make sure to clip any loose threads as well! Especially in a quilt with white fabric, threads might show through the fabric.
